Welcome to the final round of the SLIIT CODEFEST ALGOTHON 2022!

After the conclusion of the introductory session, the contest will be opened on the HackerRank platform on 19/01/2023 (Thursday) at 10.00am IST. Each team will have 4.5 hours to complete the challenges given and the contest will end automatically at 2.30pm IST same day. There will be 15 challenges, which must be solved and submitted to the HackerRank platform.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  • Contestants are free to explore any resources available online or offline.
  • Contestants are expected maintain an honest competitive spirit and refrain sharing any material with other teams. The organizers reserve the right to take any action as deemed necessary, including disqualification of the team, if such activities are discovered.
  • Contest will be held as per HackerRank's standard rules (See Scoring section for details).
  • In case of a dispute, the final decision will solely be based on the HackerRank's leaderboard results.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
