About

A short-duration mathematical programming contest focusiing on number theory, combinatorics, probability, modular arithmetic and other interesting maths topics.

With the freedom to use any computational aid as a supplement to the intuition and ideas, the participants will be asked questions with increasing difficulties. The problems range in difficulty and for many, the experience is inductive chain learning. That is, by solving one problem it will expose you to a new concept that allows you to undertake a previously inaccessible problem. So the determined participant will slowly but surely work his/her way through every problem.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
