About

One of the most important targets of STEM LHD is to support the local software developer community by helping them building amazing technologies. This contest is made to motive competitive programmers of high schools to continue learning programming, participating in local and global programming competitions, and being part of young problem solvers community in Egypt, especially in STEM, because we believe that young programmers in our community still have the potential and skills needed to make a good performance in such competitions. So, how can we let these skills go without making a contest?

  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
