Welcome to the TakingControl's Coding Contest! Our mission is to transform the coding experience by removing fear and promoting a positive environment for online assessments. This contest not only provides an opportunity for participants to practice and build confidence but also helps in refining time management skills. Engaging in this contest will significantly enhance your coding skills, empowering you to tackle challenges with ease. As a bonus, we have enticing prizes for the top three performers.

Prizes

The top 3 performers of this contest will be awarded:

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • This is a 60 minute long test.
  • Consists of 3-DSA Based programming questions.
  • Changing tabs during the tests is prohibited.
  • Any form of plagiarism in code in unaccepted.
  • Using any AI tools is prohibited.
  • Ensure you submit the solutions to questions for them to be counted.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
  • Final Leaderboard will be put together TakingControl after contest by manually checkig for plagiarism and the contest winners will be decided by the same.
