This is the qualification round of the Coding Contest #3.

The top 50 contestants of the qualification round will be invited to the Coding Contest #3, which will happen on the 4th of February from 7pm to 8:30pm. You will be able to see your ranking on the leaderboard and the invitations will be sent via HackerRank once the qualification round is done. Prizes

The Qualification Round doesn't have any prize but the Coding Contest #3, which will happen on the 4th of February, will have the following prizes for the top 3 participants:

  1. Nintendo Switch Console
  2. Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphone
  3. Raspberry Pi 4

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.

Dos:

  1. If you need to look at the Online Java Documentation or any other programming language documentation because you forgot the syntax, feel free to do so.
  2. You can use your own IDE if you want.
  3. Submit your code as many times as you want. There is no penalty for incorrect submission.

Don'ts:

  1. Discuss solutions with your other participants before the end of the challenge.
  2. Try to find solution on Stack Overflow, Wikipedia or any other website.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken based on who submitted all the solutions first.
