UQCS has teamed up with IMC to present its flagship competitive event for Semester 1, 2021: the UQCS CodeJam!

Join us for competitive programming challenges designed to challenge everyone from first to fifth years (and beyond). Never done a CodeJam before? No worries! Representatives from IMC will be available to help out with strategies, as well as providing some more insight about what it's like to work at one of the world's most active proprietary trading firms and a key market maker.

Prizes

  • 1st place overall: $150 JB Hi-Fi gift voucher
  • 2nd place overall: $100 JB Hi-Fi gift voucher
  • 3rd place overall: $60 JB Hi-Fi gift voucher
  • Top first-year: $120 JB Hi-Fi gift voucher

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes.   • Competitors must work individually and submit only their own work.
  • Limit of one prize per person.
  • To be eligible for prizes, you must be a current university student and registered on the HackerRank contest. Non-students (including alumni) can participate but will not be eligible for prizes.
  • You are considered a first year student if this is your first or second semester of university studies (in any degree).
